an enjoyable ride!

First, 3 things: I'm old enough to have played RE games on the PS1 and Gamecubes. 2: The original RE3 Nemesis was my favorite game. 3. I, like many people, felt ripped off by the remake, especially since there has been no expanded map or dlc since. Okay, that being said, I have around 900 hours on RE3Remake--I hold the world record for completing all five games with pistols only, no aids, no extra ammo. Look up my YT. I really love the mechanics, over the shoulder camera (I don't like so-called 1st person shooters, if I wanted to play Doom, I wouldn't have been playing RE), and the graphics and visuals are stunning. The game is a short run: one or two sessions to complete, unless you're trying something crazy like knife only, or the Triple H Challenge--Hardcore, Handguns and Hotdogger only--kill all enemies. THAT kind of play is possible on RE3 remake because it's a fast, short game. At the current marked down prices it's well worth the cost of 20 bucks or so, it's not like you're paying the 65 dollars it started out at, and the game is extremely challenging, to the point of frustration for new players on the highest game modes. It's not a good remake of RE3 Nemesis, but it IS a great game by itself, and that's how you have to take it. Maybe in the vein of the RE1 updated games, Capcom will one day release updated RE2 and RE3 updates as well, (btw, RE2 remake, if you haven't played, is the best of the new series hands down, don't miss it!). Keep killing those zombies!
